Some of us might think, “Oh no, I don’t need any more reasons to be on my phone,” I understand. But trust me, where things can be complicated, technology has done everything to simplify our lives. There is always an app for everything.
Here are some of my favorite apps, which have helped me improve my day to day.
Slack
2020 also brought us the great era of work from home. with slack you will have all your team communication in one place and instantly accessible.
Chat with your co-workers in channels organized according to projects or interests.
Create channels, set availability alerts, send reminders, attach files, comment and organize all in one, without overloading your Google Drive.
To Do
I’ve tried quite a few planning apps, and there’s no such thing as Microsoft’s To Do. A simple app that syncs with all your devices. With beautiful wallpapers, and very easy to use.
It is available in Spanish and is compatible with Siri.
Add small habits to your routine, they generate big changes in the long run, use To Do to organize your day to day and be your best version.
Headspace
It’s like the Nike Run Club of meditation, the creators of this app excelled by making mindfulness easy to practice.
We have all suffered from stress or anxiety, either from isolation or from so much work. There is no way to disconnect from all your work and take time to appreciate our being. That is mindfulness, but we will talk about it in more detail in another post.
Meanwhile, you can find guided meditations of all types and lengths on the Headspace app.
Wellness
I’m in love with this app , it tracks your “mood” during the day, how you feel at that moment. From feeling miserable to fantastic.
It also adds to the app all your workouts, hours of sleep, and the water you consume during the day.
Wellness sends you notifications to know your mood and if you wish you can write down as if it were a diary. You also have the option of adding the supplements or medications you take to learn how they affect your mood.
Waterminder
We all know how important it is to drink water, to stay hydrated and energized. With waterminder you will have a daily tracking and reminder of your water intake, according to your pre-established goals, it also synchronizes with the other health apps to have all your records together. Excellent!
