Morning routines have been trending in recent years, behind every story of successful entrepreneurs, there is a good morning routine.
A good morning routine helps us set the tone for the day, allowing us to better control our schedules instead of having our schedule control us. As we start each day anew, we can better focus on what’s in front of us, where to prioritize our time, and increase our productivity.
When adding new habits to your routine, start incorporating a few and not all at once, you don’t want to overwhelm yourself. Start doing it for 5 minutes and you will see that once you have started it will be easier for you to continue.
Remember that the most important thing is to enjoy the process, to make it right for you. perhaps lighting a candle or listening to your favorite music. If you really want to perfect your morning routine, I recommend the books Atomic Habits or The 5 am club.
Here I share some habits that have been game changers (they changed the rules of the game) to start my day with the best energy and motivation to achieve all my goals.
- Avoid looking at your phone for the first 20-30 minutes after waking up. Use the first moments of the day to focus your ideas and talk to yourself before starting your day.
- Start a Journal. what is journaling? it is what I write at the beginning of the day, it is my way to start the day feeling grateful and focused on what I want to achieve. Give a sense of direction to your day, to start off on the right foot.
- Listen to a playlist of feel-good music to boost your energy and set the tone for a positive mood.
Start your day with a big glass of water and make sure you stay hydrated throughout the day. - Doing your Skincare routine, remember that self-care is not a luxury, it’s a necessity.
- Get dressed, get dressed either to exercise or for your work from home. Even if your work is from home, getting dressed helps to motivate you and be prepared for whatever comes up during the day.
- Make your bed, if you are one of those people who get up and go back to bed; once you have arranged your space you will no longer feel like going back to bed. You will see your environment more organized and you will be motivated.
- Meditate for 10 minutes, although it may sound boring and that it does not add much to becoming successful, it is quite the opposite. It frees you from stress, anxiety and helps you focus your ideas. In the long run you will be able to work without paying attention to the distractions around you and be more present in all areas of your life.
